Yay!! I lost about 6 pounds this week! Since Sunday I have been restricting like crazy and trying to exercise as much as possible. I have been walking for at least 45 minutes a day, some days 1-3 hours. Starting Monday I'm gonna integrate pilates and ab exercises into my routine....at least 4 times a week. This is how I did this week:
Monday: Small piece of chicken (90cals) Carrots (40cals)
Tuesday: Little bit of rice (70cals) Half a piece of salmon (100cals) Rolo (250cals)
Wednesday: 2 glasses of Coke (300cals)
Today: 8 whole wheat crackers w/ cheese & salsa (300cals) Glass of chocolate milk (180cals)
I'm so proud of myself. Next week my boyfriend is going away to work for 3 weeks. He'll be gone Monday-Friday then home for the weekends....I am gonna miss him soo much, but he is always making me eat, so it will be easy to restrict for the next little while. I weigh about 172 right now....I want to get to 155 or lower by the end of July.

OKAY! So for real now....I am starting an extreme diet plan TODAY! I know I have been failing miserably lately, but this time I'm serious. I kept quitting last time, cuz I'd do good for a few days, then eat something bad and I would just give up. But now, no matter what I am going to stick to it. I weigh about 175 right now (at 5'7) and my goal weight is 135-145, depending on how I feel between those weights. 2 years ago, I was at 144, perfectly content with my body and maintaining...then I just blew up in the last year. Mind you at that time, I was only moderately exercising (walking 30-60 mins a day, if that), so I was not as toned as I'd like to be. But I just joined the gym and will be starting my workouts tomorrow. I don't have a job right now, so I have no excuses for not working out everyday (except on weekends, which we usually go camping, or do something that involves a little bit of exercise anyway).
My gym plan is:
-Walk to the gym every morning (15 minutes) -Warm-up on treadmill for 30 minutes (walk 5, jog 5, etc) -Eliptical machine (30 minutes) -Machines/Weights (30 minutes) -Walk home from gym (15 minutes) So that's 2 hours of exercise per day, mostly cardio including the walk there and back. I don't know too much about weights/machines, but I will figure it out I'm sure. They also have a pool there, so eventually I will incorporate swimming into this (probably after the first month, and hopefully I've lost at least 20 pounds by then or I will not put on a bathing suit).
Now, onto the food part of this. I'm basically just going to eat as little as possible, when I have to. My plan is to not eat at all during the day, and then just eat dinner at night. My boyfriend gets mad at me when I don't eat, but he works long hours all day so I will be able to get away with just dinner. So I'm estimating I'll eat around 500-600cals a day, maybe more on the weekends as I am always with him. I am also only drinking water, and sometimes iced green tea. I just finished a 1L bottle of water which I am gonna keep refilling and try to drink at least 3 per day.
On top of all this, I will be doing pilates at least 3 times a week for 30 minutes each time to help tone up my tummy and stuff, also make me more flexible.
Okay SO! June 2nd is my starting date...starting weight is about 175. My goal weight for June 30th (exactly 4 weeks from today) is 153....22 pounds, hopefully more but that's my realistic goal. I want to get to 145 by the second week of July. So that's 30 pounds in just under 2 months.....but I think it's totally doable with all this exercise!

SO! Last night, my boyfriend comes home from work...& wants to go for all you can eat wings...of course eh! I didn't eat that much....but I had 2 beers, which I shouldn't have...& my tummy is real upset this morning cuz I haven't been eating greasy foods like this. Anyways my man gave me money today for summer clothes....blah! I hate shopping for clothes when I'm fat. Oh well. Here's how I did yesterday... -5 chicken wings (400cals?) -6 onion rings (275cals) -2 beers (300cals)
At least I kept it under 1000 right?? I'm not eating anything at all today...unless my boyfriend makes me eat dinner. And I'm gonna walk up to the mall which will probably take 45 minutes there & another 45 minutes home, so that will be my exercise. Hopefully I can find some cute clothes that look alright on this chub =(

So, I've started my diet. Again. I'm actually doing pretty well this time though. My boyfriend got a new job where he's working up to 12 hours a day, so he's not around to make me eat. So what I've been doing, and what I plan to keep doing, is not eat all day, only drink water, and then have a little bit of dinner. I've also been trying to exercise more, but I need to join the gym. I got a job, but I don't start until the end of next month which kind of sucks cuz I just sit at home all day. Anyways I started again on Monday and so far, this is how I've done....
Monday -Banana (120cals) -Chocolate milk (300cals) -Peanuts (300cals) -Homemade hamburger (350cals?) Tuesday -Boneless skinless chicken breast (140cals) -White rice (200cals)
Wednesday -Half rack of baby back ribs (200cals) -Kraft dinner (250cals) -4 beers (600cals)
Definitely could have done without the beer & chocolate milk...but food-wise I did okay. On Monday me & my boyfriend went on a few walks, then on Tuesday, I walked around downtown for about 2 hours. Didn't really do much yesterday

Okay, so basically last time I tried, I failed. again. But this time, I'm fully dedicating myself. i've gotten so fat again, and I hate it. I need to lose at least 25 pounds, hopefully more like 30. I want to weigh 135-145 again, maybe less. My boyfriend and I went to the Y yesterday to see how much a membership is, and we'll be joining on Friday. I recently quit smoking, so that's also a really good thing. pretty much, my plan is to work out as much as possible, and eat as little as possible, annnd WATER WATER WATER. I've been drinking like up to 10 glasses a day or more. I haven't been weighing myself, because we don't have a scale, and also cuz I'd rather not until I see some results. I want to be at least 15-20 pounds lighter by March 26th, and then hopefully lose the last 10-15 pounds in March. I know I can do this, I just need to try harder! Anyways, this is the morning of Day 2, so far all I've had today is water and don't plan on eating anything until dinner time, and that's all. Yesterday, all I had was;
Knorr rice w/ brocolli & carrots - 400Cals 1 glass of Fruitopia - 110Cals LOTS of water - 0Cals
I'm pretty much just trying to fast all day and drink only water and fruit juice, then eat a little bit of dinner at night. I figure as long as I keep it between 500-600 calories, I should be okay. Anyways, I will be updating daily if possible...wish me luck!

Well, since all of my other entries were about failed attempts to lose weight, I just deleted them and I'm starting fresh. I've gained SO much weight this past year and I hate it. I definitely need to lose at least 30 pounds, hopefully more like 40 by the summer. I don't have a scale which is probably a good thing because I'm scared to find out exactly how much I weigh, but I'm probably around 175 now, which is sooo gross. This time last year, I was about 140 and a size 7/9 in pants....now I'm a 13/14. So I'm completely changing everything now. I know I can do this, I've gone from almost 200 to 140 in less than a year so I know this is possible. I'm not eating anymore junk food, and only drinking water from now on, sometimes juice. I'm just basically not going to eat, except for at dinner cuz my boyfriend cooks every night and makes sure that I eat. So I figure I should be okay if I only eat a little bit at night, and try to keep it under 500 calories. Weekends will be kinda hard cuz I'm with my boyfriend all day and he is always eating but I'll just make sure I try to eat healthy things. I'm also looking for a job, I haven't been working a lot this last year, which is probably how I got so fat. I've had like 5 jobs, but they've all been temp. As for exercise, it's supposed to be really warm all week and the snow is melting, so I want to walk for at least 30 minutes-1 hour every day, and then maybe do pilates, or yoga or something for 30 minutes a day.
So I'm not measuring this by a scale, because I refuse to get on one until I think I'm at least under 150. So I'm just going by how clothes fit and how my body looks. My goal is to be able to fit into my size 11 jeans by the end of this month, so that gives me just over 3 weeks, and I figure I can lose like 15 pounds. Then in February hopefully lose another 15-20 and be fit by the spring? I really need to do this, I'm so unhappy with my body....I don't fit any of my cute clothes anymore and I hate it.
Anyways, I'm doing a food log cuz I find that helps. So yesterday; Monday: -6 Ritz crackers (60cals) -2 glasses of ginger ale (180cals) -spaghetti (500cals) -2 cookies (150cals)
So not that good....almost 1000. All I've drank today is water and that's all I plan to drink, and tonight we're having meatloaf which is probably around 400cals, so that's all I'll have...
